Facilitated by our local “Pottery Playground”, Mr. Baron’s Grade 8 Social Studies class recreated the complex construction (at a much smaller scale) of a Viking Longboat. Students learned about the first European explorers to touch base on present-day Canada and the vessels that got them here!
