A Heartfelt Thank You to the Columbia Valley Community Foundation and the Doerr Family Fund

David Thompson Secondary School is deeply grateful to the Columbia Valley Community Foundation and the Doerr Family Fund for their incredible generosity in granting $7,300 to upgrade our school’s weight room. 

This contribution represents more than just new equipment—it’s an investment in the health, well-being, and personal growth of our students. With these funds, we will be able to transform our weight room into a modern, safe, and inclusive space that encourages students to develop healthy habits, build confidence, and embrace an active lifestyle. 

The support of the Columbia Valley Community Foundation and the Doerr Family Fund shows a profound commitment to empowering youth in our community. It will positively impact not only our current students but also the many generations of students who will follow.
